1. Scatterbrain was a thrash metal band formed in the early 1990s by former Ludichrist members, Tommy Christ and Glenn Cummings. They released two full-length albums: Here Comes Trouble (1990) and Scamboogery (1991). Also released is a 7 song album titled: Mundus Intellectualis (1994). Scatterbrain are most likely best known for their songs "Don't Call Me Dude" and "Down With The Ship," both involving an element of humor. Glen Cummings briefly joined Mucky Pup after Scatterbrain disbanded.

2. Scatterbrain is also a Danish New wave band from the 80's. Members include the late Hilmer Hassig (later in "Love Shop"), Jesper Ranum (later in D?film) but the founder member is Jesper Siberg. Albums include 1981's "Keep Dancing" and 1984's "Mountains Go Rhythmic" both released on the Irmgardz label.

4. Scatterbrain is also Brendan Landis, a laptop composer and improvisor currently active in Oakland, California. He self-released the EP "You Make Me Feel So Young" in 2007 and is presently working on a full-length album.
