Die Form is a post-industrial and electronic band formed in 1977 from France. The name 'Die Form' means '(the) form/shape' in German, like the Bauhaus diary and is a play on the English homonym 'deformed' and on the French homonym 'difforme' (deformed). Their most recent output is the album "Noir Magn?tique" (2009). Die Form's songs are erotic and death-obsessed. They have been able to impose years after years a music and an image of the most completed, in the practice of the "multimedia intervention" (music, performance, photography and cinema/video).

Since 1978, besides multiple participations in international projects, about thirty albums, many video clips & films and two art books allow to appreciate their particular universe : industrial and organic electronic, tortured neo-classic and experimental constructions to more accessible compositions (based on rhythms, cuts, sampling, treated voices and sequences). Always motivated by passions, Philippe F. and Eliane P. exhibit the ultimate beauty of love, at the boundary of the interdicts.
"Out-standard constructions where is added a mechanical dimension to the sensuality of the female voices and melodies."
