They are all the same band. Cuby and the Blizzards are a Dutch Blues group formed in the early sixties. The group's current(2009) line-up consists of Harry Muskee (Vocals, Harmonica), Erwin Java (Guitar), Herman Deinum (Bass) and Hans La Faille (Drums) and Helmig van der Vegt (Piano, Keys).

The group's current(2009) line-up consists of Harry Muskee (Vocals, Harmonica), Erwin Java (Guitar), Herman Deinum (Bass) and Hans La Faille (Drums) and Helmig van der Vegt (Piano, Keys).
Cuby and the Blizzards play a mix of Chicago Blues and self penned Blues. Guitarist Eelco Gelling was asked to join John Mayall's bluesbreakers but refused. The band toured Europe and also backed American and British blues singers including Eddie Boyd and Van Morrison.
Through the sixties and seventies Cuby and the Blizzards continued to change band members and disbanded in 1972, to reform again in 1975 from the Red White & Blue Band with Harry and Eelco still at the leadership. Cuby and the Blizzards continued on and off through the eighties.

They've released their new record 'Cat's Lost' in 2009 and they've set up a tour to back the album.
Eelco Gelling is still musically active.
