Christel Alsos

Christel Alsos is a Norwegian singer-songwriter in the jazz area. Many would say she sings similar to Eva Cassidy. Born 20 December 1984 in Fauske, Nordland. She was discovered by Sony BMG after a performance on the Norwegian tv-show "Noen Bedre" in 2004. She released her first single Come On in 2006, and the debut album Closing The Distance was released on 15 January 2007. Christel was nominated for "Spellemannsprisen" 2008 in two categories: best female singer and the newcomer of 2007.
