Satan

There is more than one band with this name: a British NWOBHM band, a Serbian Black Metal band, a French Grind/Black Metal band, a Japanese Visual Rock band. 1) Satan (UK) was an nwobhm band formed in 1979. Satan would change their name to Blind Fury after the release of their debut Court in the Act in 1983. The former singer Brian Ross was replaced by Lou Taylor who was in Satan once before and himself was also, ironically, replaced by Brian Ross. After they released Out of Reach in 1985, they changed their name back to Satan and Michael Jackson (not the pop star) joined on vocals.

They released an EP Into the Future in 1986 and the album Suspended Sentence in 1987.
In 1988, the band changed it's name again, this time to The Kindred and then to Pariah (UK). In 1990, guitarist Steve Ramsey and bassist Graeme English left to form Skyclad with former Sabbat singer, Martin Walkyier, finally dissolving Satan in the process.
Satan announced a reunion with Brian Ross in 2005.

2) Satan, Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, Raw Black Metal
Band is founded 2009, by Vo?d Jovan Pogani ( Sahrana, 1389, Goat Evil, Nan Elmoth, Prorok, ex-Goat Ritual). The same year "Nazaretski La?ov" (Liar of Nazareth) is recorded....Soon AlekSS (Vocal) and Nikola (Guitar) are joined.

3) Satan is a French Grind/Black Metal band formed in 2009.

4) SaTaN is a Japanese Visual rock band who began activities in 2008 and went on hiatus in early 2011.
