His music first caught the attention of labels when he self-produced AudioMicroDevice on black recordable CDs. Ochre's music uses elements of IDM to create laid-back tracks. 2. Ochre was a 4 piece band from Brisbane, Australia that played hard riff-based rock with added keyboards for ambience. Their songs were about self-betterment and positive thinking and attitudes. They broke up in 2003 and two members went on to form Dead Letter Circus.

3. Ochre was a powerviolence/hardcore band, active in the mid 1990's.
They released a Self-Titled 7" and a split 7" with Left for Dead.
They featured members of Incurable Complaint, Embassy, jeffrey and the .6 system, Strictly Ballroom, etc.
