Killing Time started under the name Raw Deal.The band first released demo tracks on the Blackout! compilation "Where The Wild Things Are..", and others. They signed to In-Effect/Relativity records shortly after that. Forced to change their name because of a UK glam act with the same moniker, the band rechristened Killing Time, and released their Brightside album in 1990. For several years the band played regionally and went out to the West Coast for a few shows with SOIA.
