Death Before Disco started out in October 2000 and played a leading role in the Belgian post-hardcore scene. They released two split cd's with Severance and What Lies Within and 2 full cd's. By the time of their final release, "Barricades", they had played with bands such as Thursday, Coheed and Cambria, and at Groezrock Festival 2007. They toured with bands such as Jairus, Shai-Hulud and strung out through Europe, the United Kingdom and Indonesia. Their unique electric sound, soft, screamy vocals and explosive live set kept their audiences alive and kicking.
