RD, being founded in 1997 in the city of Brest by students of the local musical college; as the group with its complex, non-trivial music, and unorthodox approach to composition, quickly started drawing more and more attention from local and world critics.
Now the band is represented by seven experienced composers and performers, who have graduated from Minsk conservatorium. RD plays original composed and improvised pieces, combining stylistic elements of Chamber, Rock-In-Opposition and Free-Jazz music (as well as Stravinsky and Bartok, and Henry Cow or Zorn stylistics can be found in band's music).
Two RD CDs were released by Italian label "Altrock" in years 2007-2008 and were highly appraised by critics. The band performs at academic music festivals regularly, as well as at rock or jazz ones.
