There are several bands named The Same 1) Swedish punk band 2) UK Mod revival band 3) band from the Tampa Bay area 4) Minimal Electronic Music duo from Felixstowe, UK 1) The punk band The Same was formed in 1977 and played their first gig as Absolute Swine. After the concert the guitarrist Tomas Broman quit and the new setting became Peter Bystr?m (vocals), Per Kraft (guitarr), Mats-Olof ?Moses? Nilsson (bass) and Magnus Holm?n (drums). Before their final gig at Hedbergska skolan 25/11-77, they also played at Club Mysack as Pete & the Percolators.

4) Minimal Electronic Duo from Felixstowe, UK. Consisting of Robert Cox (Casio VL Tone) and partner Florence Atkinson (Vocals). Released first LP - Synch or Swim, in 1981. Followed by a 7" Single in 1982.
