Billie Piper

Billie Paul Piper was born Lianne Paul Piper on 22nd September 1982 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England to Paul Piper and Mandy Kent. Her parents changed her given name from Lianne to Billie three weeks after registering her birth. She has one younger brother, Charlie, and two younger sisters, Harley and Ellie. She became the youngest ever female to get a UK #1 at age 15 with her first hit single "Because We Want To.

She is possibly best known as Rose Tyler in the reinvented franchise of British TV serial Doctor Who, a role she played from 2005 to early 2010. She has won many awards for her acting and has recently starred in the ITV Drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl, as London escort Belle de Jour.

She married actor Laurence Fox on December 31st 2007, and gave birth to their first child, a son named Winston James, on the 21st October 2008.
