Signed in 2000 by NYC indie label, ModMusic Records, SCOUT recorded its first full length record, ?It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time.? It was released to stellar reviews in everything from Billboard to Rockpile and debuted in the Top 30 of the CMJ & Hits Chart. It was also the second most added record on college radio. In 2003, the long anticipated sophomore album, co-recorded and mixed with Carl Glanville (Patti Smith, Joan Jett, and Jesse Malin) while he was on hiatus from U2's latest project, was released to even more accolades.
SCOUT has appeared and performed on an episode of HBO's The Sopranos and NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." The band is currently in the studio finishing up tracks for their latest record and is anxiously anticipating the kickoff of another nationwide tour starting this summer.
