"Mandi Perkins is the new frontier when it comes to females that rock; she's unfiltered, unedited, and is a ?true? artist - Her lyrics are 100% her life and I'm excited for the rest of the world to hear what I know will be one of the best new rock acts in years.? - Ryan Tedder (From One Republic) "Mandi Perkins is undoubtedly one of the freshest, most prolific songwriters to hit the U.S from our North American neighbor. Consistently delighting audiences with her enthusiastic performances, her "take no prisoners" attitude, and her contagious melodic rock, Perkins is set for fame." -- BMI

Mandi Perkins is a songwriter from Toronto, Canada and lead singer in the band "of Verona". Her ambitions inspired a move to California to pursue both a career in music and to attend UC Berkeley where she graduated with Honors with a degree in English Literature. Immediately following graduation, Mandi made a move to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in music while simultaneously attending law school.
Mandi toured the country and performed regularly at venues on the Sunset Strip such as The Roxy, The Viper Room, The Key Club and The Troubadour. She graduated, passed the California State Bar and completed her first independent full length album, bleeding the line ?, in 2007. Songs from bleeding the line ? have been featured on The Hills and The Real World on MTV and in Girlfriends on the CW.
The release of Mandi's album garnered her industry attention, including that of Jeff Rosen, Bob Dylan's long time head of publishing. Jeff introduced her to executives at Sony Music who subsequently signed her to a record deal. Mandi immediately began work on her major label debut album, Alice In No Man's Land.
After the label head that signed Mandi to Sony was let go, Alice In No Man's Land saw a limited digital release on August 5, 2008. All the lyrics on Alice In No Man's Land were written by Mandi and the album was produced by Warren Huart (The Fray, Augustana)) and mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, John Mayer). Mandi is represented by CAA and has toured nationally through North America and parts of Canada. MSN Music and Clear Channel Online both featured her as their ?One To Watch? artists and Yahoo Music named her one of their ?Who's Next? artists.
Mandi has a new band project, of Verona, that is set to launch in the summer of 2010.
In addition to her own music, Mandi has been writing songs for a multitude of other artists. She has collaborated with such producers and songwriters as: Mikal Blue, Toby Gad, Warren Huart, Jon Ingoldsby, Jay Clifford, Dillon Pace, David Gamson, Jeff Trott, Andy Dodd, Ryan Tedder & Rumer.
