Emily Grogan

Emily Grogan, a multi-faceted rocker and songwriter, can be found in her music and her lyrics. Both are as intellectually and emotionally dimensional as the woman herself. With an ongoing obsession with Theoretical and Astro- Physics, and a need for challenging mass realities and conciousness, Emily's past experiences include a three week trek hitchhiking with hash traders through North Africa; working in a homeless shelter in Boston and later on Wall Street; touring with a junior high school rock band; and having an early Emily Grogan composition end up in a Sony movie.

While single-parenting two young daughters and temporarily locked in suburbia, she is coaching a rock band of talented ten year olds, singing children's songs at a toy store, and having fun doing medical modeling at Harvard Medical School. Application is in for a stint in grad school as preparation for teaching middle-school math and science?. and of course she is writing more music.
