Document was an independent band active 2000-2004. They formed in Detroit, Michigan, USA. The band's core members included Randy Bishop (vocals guitar, presently of Sh! The Octopus) and Jeff Thomson (bass guitar). Cas Kopacki (drums), Fred Spears (drums), and Chad Miller (guitar vocals) also played important roles during the four years of Document's existence. The band's sound reflected late 90's DC pioneers Fugazi and newer Y2K bands such as Q and Not U and The Dismemberment Plan.

Document is also the moniker of 22 year old folk singer/singer writer Hank Watts from Tampa, Florida. He cut his teeth playing in several diverse bands ranging from touring hardcore acts to garage pop groups. Often found playing and recording with several friends, plans for a 7inch split and a full length album are in the works.
