Having their roots in Ladenburg, a small town in Germany that is home to most of the band members, they soon became known as the "R?merst?dter Punk-Band".
They soon began to develop their own musical style, best described as a mixture of melodic punk and hardrock, which was highly influenced by bands as The Offspring, Bad Religion and later on AFI.
In 2003 they released their first demo-album, "Into", which contained their first 5 songs.
During the next few years, they steadily worked on improving their song material, until Johannes Weis left the band in early 2006, causing the band to take a brief off-time.
Now, with the new drummer Frederic Michel the band is back in business and working on song material for their first full-length album.
2. About Face is a jazz-funk project that in 1997 released the album About Time. Current and previous band members consisted of Matt Silverman, Trista Beauchamp, Tommy Banks, Kevin Paladini, Steve Bradley, James Fisher, Joel Griffin, Denise Wright, James Reitzel, Uriah Duffy, Angeline Saris, Ru Bradford, and Greg Scott.
About Face is still performing live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
