Dishking

Dutch singer/songwriter Jason de Laat is the main figure behind DISHKING. On January 23 2008 DISHKING released the album 'The power of a loaded gun'. It seems inspired by the sound, that was developed during the 50's in the Sun Studios in Memphis. Jason followed his own path that led to the creation of Dishking to wonder beyond what's familiar and known for this kind of music being it americana, delta blues or retro rock & popmusic in a blended mix of Johnny Cash/Elvis Presley/John Lee Hooker/Iggy Pop/Nick Cave and David Bowie.

DISHKING's 2nd album called "Sell yourself in Gold" has been released early 2010, a indepth album about Dishking's life & future endeavours. Of both 2 albums 2 singles have been promoted on national radio namely "Work this Thang" and "Backdoor Loverman".
