There are at least two bands named Disaster Peace: 1.Originally known as Disaster Piece, Disaster Peace was a band formed in Nairobi, Kenya in early 2008 by vocalist Tebogo Malebogo, guitarist Petter Sel?nniemi, bassist Hugo Lemarquis and drummer Adam Kolker. Interestingly enough, all members had different nationalities. The band made their first performance on stage in April 2008 in a school talent show, performing their first song, Wasted Talent.

Interestingly enough, all members had different nationalities. The band made their first performance on stage in April 2008 in a school talent show, performing their first song, Wasted Talent. The band made their first post-summer performance in September of 2008, legendary since a little prick had messed with the tuning and because Hugo forgot his bass-line. In October 2008 the band was banned from their regular practice room in a tower at their school by a completely shitfaced music teacher because of lack of supervision and because the Petter raped an amplifier that belonged to the school. While discussing the issue with a teacher they saw a 4th grader faceplant into his lunch, which inspired theyr totally gnarly song, It Hurts. With practise difficulties, the band decided start playing in Adams room, at Hugo's house and at any possible place with a drum set. Problems grew when news came that the lead singer, Tebogo, would move to Canada. A replacement was found, Andy Morales (most famous for having a purple dick) who would sing and play rythm guitar until the end of the band. In January 2009 Disaster Piece renamed to Disaster Peace, since this was found more appropriate, a "manager" was found to guide and supervise the band, beating the shitfaced music teacher. The next time the band performed publicly was at another talentshow, performing "Rain", a song about constant moving and leaving friends behind, something the band members where used to, "It Hurts" and a cover of the Ramones "Blitzkrieg Bob". The Band got recommended to a recording studio, where they recorded their three song demo, In Memory, the only songs by the band ever recorded. the last performance by the band was at their middle school graduation, performing "Stars Tonight", after which the band broke apart, due to moving. Even though only lasting slightly over a year, Disaster Peace will always be remembered by its members and contains many memories. Cheesy.
