Best known as a new age composer, producer, and performer, Dik Darnell has been involved with music in some form or another since the early '60s. Darnell's humanitarian ideals can be detected in both his music and personal life (he's established the foundation Four Winds, as well as supporting the spiritual ideals of Native Americans -- since the '70s, Darnell has been active in a Sioux community).
Darnell has been issuing solo albums since the late '80s, including 1988's Following the Circle, 1994's Ceremony, 1999's Prophecies (a collaboration with Steven Halpern), and 1996's Winter Solstices, among others.
