Detroit Illharmonic Symphony
Genre:
Rap

The Detroit Illharmonic Symphony formed initally to populate the soundtrack of an ill-fated animated program produced by Klasky Csupo, surviving beyond the scrapping of the project that drew them together. They combine traditonal classical music with a blend of hip-hop, electronica, jazz, and a variety of thickly-political audio samples that becomes a rich and totally unique sound. Several of their music videos can be found circulating on the internet, chiefly at their website (http://www.detroitillharmonic.
