Depressed Mode

Depressed Mode is a death doom metal band which started as a one-man-project by Ossy Salonen in Pori, Finland. After 3 months Tomppa Turpeinen joined the band as guitar player. After 6 months, Natalie Koskinen, known for her contributions for the previous Shape of Despair albums, joined the band. After 11 months when Depressed Mode was a trio, Jamppa Lamminp?? joined the band and took over the bass-line. This all started in 2005.

One song was recorded in 2004 but it was too different from their other compositions and it didn't fit either into death metal or black metal. The genre was melodic death-doom, and they continued playing it. The debut album "Ghosts of Devotion" was released in the early Summer of 2007.
