Deadly Candy are Mr. Tin, born in 1976, and Super Mia, born in 1983 - An inspiring duo that electronically translates the harsh-dark world of Heavy Metal into the rich and powerful language of Trance music. Born and bred in Argentina, the two siblings had a flair for music, arts and vandalism from their most early beginning, a flair which was first molded when they arrived to Israel and got introduced to the underground Punk-Rock and Heavy-Metal scene.
Later on, encouraged by undisclosed amounts of undisclosed substances, they discovered the intense Israeli Trance scene with its renowned out-door parties that sprang-up like mushrooms after the rain ;-). They both grew, each in their own way, to become active members in the Trance scene and industry, inevitability ending a few years after in the cooperation which gave rise to Deadly Candy and its relentless music.
Mr. Tin's passion for creating Trance music started, like all great things, with an epiphany while driving back from a party. The old and beaten Subaru Justy was immersed in amazing beats and melodies which weirdly enough came out from car's non-existing stereo system? It was this epiphany that led him to start experimenting with sounds, and it was these experiments that led to his early work mostly in the Minimal and Progressive sub-genres. He's style was later evolved into its unique form, while studying at Betzalel academy of arts, when he was introduced to the unforgiving dark Techno scene in Jerusalem which mixed up well with his Punk-Rock and Heavy-Metal roots.
While Mr. Tin was busy messing around experimenting with music, Super Mia was busy messing around with her brain in parties all over Israel. It was her good looks, wit and audacity that soon made her a well known figure in the Israeli Trance scene, and got her acquainted with leading performers and creators that opened the door for her to make her inevitable switch from dance floor to the DJ stand. Super Mia was soon recognized to be a promising DJ, making parties "end-up in unpredictable bloody mess, jumping and bashing all about?"
At 2009, 10 years after his musical epiphany and 6 years after her first stand as a DJ, Super Mia and her brother Mr. Tin, decided to join forces and drop the world to its knees begging for mercy and drop the fans to their knees begging for some more Deadly Candy..
