David Newman

Newman maintains a working relationship with actor/director Danny DeVito, scoring many of DeVito's films starting with Throw Momma From the Train (1987) and continuing through Death to Smoochy (2002) and the upcoming I Married A Witch.

While less well-known than his brother and cousin, David Newman is one of Hollywood's most prolific composers, with over 80 scores to his credit.

2) David "Fathead" Newman, b. February 24, 1933 in Corsicana, Texas, is an American jazz saxophonist who began his professional career in 1954 as an original member of Ray Charles' band.
