A.L.X. is a post-punk songwriter and musician based in New York City, with influences ranging from David Bowie to Iggy Pop. The band is anchored by former Billy Idol drummer Thommy Price, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts bassist Enzo Penizzotti and guitarist Jimi K. Bones of Blondie. A.L.X. learned to sing and play guitar in his late teens in New York. In the mid 90's, he cut an unreleased EP with Brooklyn producer Roger Greenawalt (known as the man who discovered Ben Kweller), and in 1997 he recorded a full-length album with Grammy nominated Bon Jovi producer Luke Ebbin.

In 2007, producer Sammy Merendino helped him recruit musicians to develop and record the songs for a new album--"No Eyes for the Future" includes contributions from acclaimed jazz/rock guitarist Jeff Golub and guitarist Andrew Carillo of Joan Osborne.
A.L.X. is known for intense live shows and will be releasing a new full-length album in spring 2010.
