Latin Jazz Guitarist, Dave Percell, is definitely in a league of his own when it comes to stroking the Nylon Strings. His vibrant and high energy guitar licks have "wowed" all that have heard him play, including long time jazz industry musicians. He holds nothing back as he delivers a brilliant mixture of Latin Flamenco rythms and Jazz fusion elements. Most people do not know that this gifted musician came from a Rock background. He began playing the guitar at the age of ten.

Dave showed an exceptional talent and as a young teen began playing studio sessions and gigs with well known Rock bands in the local Washington DC Metro area. He later moved to Southern California where he played in local rock bands and continued to fine tune his style of playing.

Dave Percell's major influences have been Return to Forever and was inspired by Al Di Meola' s Fusion and Latin Jazz style. His other influences have been Allen Holdsworth and Flamenco Guitarist Paco De Lucia.

In 2006 Dave was asked to do studio recordings with Christian recording artist, Chuckie Perez. Chuckie's new CD was more of a latin/R&B genre. Dave fell in love with latin music at that point. He made the switch from an electric guitar to an Acoustic guitar and began contouring his signature style to Latin Jazz with a fusion mixture.

He began writing for his new CD "Eternal Traveler" in 2006 and brilliantly found a style and compistion that would appeal to a variety of age groups, races, and both genders. He calls it "Jazz with a Latin flavor". He just released his new tracks (mp3's) via Itunes, CD Baby, and other online retail stores. October 20, 2008 will mark his official CD release hosted at The Mint in Los Angles.

As a new Indie artist and even prior to an official CD Release, Dave Percell has already managed to leave a lasting impression and capture the hearts of fans throughout the world. His fan base is quicly spreading from the US to Australia, UK, and more recently, Portugal. This music is fresh and nothing less than brilliant. It's what the music industry has long waited for.
