Darowyn

Darowyn is the performing alias that Dave uses. It is a name generated by a computer programmme he wrote to generate exotic names. By pure coincidence, if it was a Welsh name, it would mean "white oak". He is not Welsh, he was born in Lincolnshire, in a town whose name is often censored by profanity check software. While he was there, He was highly commended in the local Communist Party Second Annual Baby Show.

He has been a teacher, a youth worker, a designer and maker of exhaust pipes for racing motorbikes, a music producer, a fortune teller, a trainer of motorcycle instructors , and a worker in a glass factory.

He plays six and twelve string guitars, steel guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, melodeon and regards computer music software, especially Pro Tools and Reason, as the best thing ever invented for creating music.

He has raced a motorcycle at most of the UK circuits, played in the songwriters clubs in Nashville, and helped launch the careers of hundreds of young people, including his own children- and now he has grandsons....The story continues.

Darowyn never spends much time worrying about the things he have not done, and he says he feels sorry for those people who say "I've always wanted to ....(insert what you wish), but I never got the chance."

There are lot's of things Darowyn always wanted to do , and he claims to have done them all. He goes on to say that he fully intends to carry on doing them for a long time yet.
