Darin Isaacs started playing piano at the age of 15 when his parents bought a baby grand piano. Darin immediately gravitated toward it and began writing his 1st compositions a few months later. At the age of 17, he recorded and released his first solo-piano record titled "Rain". As "Rain's" popularity grew, Darin began to receive a great deal of press from local TV, radio, and print. Delilah (Nationally syndicated on-air personality) took a great liking to Darin's music and began playing him on her show called "Lights Out," now called the Delilah show.
Darin recorded four more records following "Rain." They are titled "Colors To Hear," "Soft Stories," "Soulos," and "CHRISTmas is a Birthday (2000)." Darin has sold over 100,000 units of these fine recordings primarily through word of mouth. In December 2007, Darin released his first CD in a decade called "Here With Me Now". Produced by Kelly Gray and Yanni "Johnny" Bacolas, "Here With Me Now" is a 5-song CD full of emotion and passion. After listening to Darin's new songs, in demo form, Russ Reagan (Producer and A&R for Elton John - - Russ signed Elton) said he has not been this excited about a new singer/songwriter, since he discovered Elton John. A dance/trance remix version (Produced by Nakhed, Andrea Martini, & Yanni Bacolas) of Darin's song, "Without My Heart" hit the airwaves in Seattle in late 2007 (now available on iTunes) and soon became a top requested listener favorite on C89.5 FM, Seattle's #1 rated dance station.
Heading into 2009, Darin will be performing several live dates beginning late January. Keep posted for dates on this site. Stay up-to-date with Darin here on MySpace as well as DarinIsaacs.com and Electric Head Records (www.electricheadrecords.com)!
