"Timeless American roots rock. Tales of dusty highways, heartbreak and redemption. Honest and soulful, earnest and uplifting." Born and raised in the suburbs of NYC, Danielle always felt a little more country mouse than city mouse. Half a lifetime of listening to the southern rock 'n soul of Tom Petty, John Fogerty and The Allman Brothers will do that to a girl. The Outlaw country of Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson also made an impression, as have singer-songwriters like Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams and Ryan Adams.

The result is "The Road Rises," a collection of songs about roads traveled the hard way, not knowing quite where you'll end up, and the good things in store just up around the bend.
Produced, recorded and mixed in Austin, TX by Dwight A. Baker (Brandi Carlile, Kelly Clarkson, Heart).
