Don't let the textured ambience fool you - a Dandelion Wine live show is not a stand and mumble into the microphone affair. On the contrary it is an energetic, passionate and visually arresting delivery of the band's unique music : strings are broken, sweat is expelled and feathers are ruffled.

Dandelion Wine are comprised of Naomi Henderson (vocals, flute, recorder, guitar, percussion, electronics) and Nicholas Albanis (dulcimer, guitars, lute, mandolin, electronics, percussion).

Following the release of their new album 'An Inexact Science' (Sept 2006, Ars Musica Diffund?re/Black Rain) Dandelion Wine completed a tour of Australia and their third tour of Europe. This tour also included the band's first ever shows in Japan.

Prior to the release of 'An Inexact Science' Dandelion Wine released 'Light Streaming Down' and Australian releases 'Tunguska Butterfly' (album, 2000), 'Cat' (single, 2001) and 'ReJiggered' (remixes, 2002).

3) The funk band Dandelion Wine released one double A-side 7", 'Some Kind Of Summer' / 'Hot Dog' (co-produced by Dennis Coffey) on Los Angeles-based Sussex records in 1973. 'Hot Dog' found new listeners 28 years later as a component of DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist's mix CD 'Product Placement'.
