While both musicians already had a huge history in music, Emiko Ota (Mami Chan Band, Sakura, Tornaod, Urban Sax, Villa St Michel) and electronic artist Andrew Sharpley (ex-Stock, Hausen & Walkman, Dummy Run), in 1998 they got together and recorded their debut album Love Your Smile which had been released on Sharpley's own imprint "Fresh Air" in 2000.
The first years saw a raw electronic punk trash version, though after their second release Bootleg! (Sonig) a new direction was hit, implementing sounds from Japanese traditional music.
On their third release, Oi!, which still contains elements from their early stage, a distinct mixture of several styles of music can be heard. From raw punk through electronic cut-ups, implementing some hiphop sides to end up in classical Japanese music.
Their live performances are known for the energetic in your face attitude mixed with a good dose of humour.
