"Without posing, Cruel Black Dove has been cooking up its own brand of dark (and immensely sexy) electronic art rock since the beginning of last summer. A Brooklyn-based outfit, vocalist Anastasia Dimou, guitarist/ producer Alan Veucasovic, bassist Shirley Ho and drummer Jonathan Nanberg are more focused on joining the ranks of their favorite artists with their stand-out sound that touches on the richness of England from the mid to late-90s with a modern polish and energy.

Anastasia's resonant vocals and lyrics combine with the band's luxuriously weighty sound to produce a powerful live show, and songs more likely to land them on multiple "Best" lists than in the local used bin."
