Based on sonic experience and gripping storytelling, their 3 album concept series, produced by Larry Elyea (Jimmy Eat World, Eyes Set to Kill), takes the listener on an unforgettable journey through the subconscious in a future setting, as told by the man responsible for the apocalypse as he sinks to his death. A Life of Science is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. James Keenan (Vocals/Programming/Bass) and Scott Passamonte (Guitar) met in college and put together a band to record the concept series??? debut album, The Apneist. The band completed a self-produced nationwide tour in 2009 covering over 8,500 miles, including performances and interviews at Comic-Cons in Ohio, Baltimore and New York City, where they released The Apneist album and The Apneist Comic Book Issue #0. James and Scott returned to the studio in March 2011 to record the 2nd and 3rd albums in the series, Vita Nova and Crystal City. The album trilogy covers an expansive range of electronic inspired pop rock. Throughout 2011, A Life of Science will be releasing a flood of music, comics, literature and film alongside nationwide touring.
