From the beginning, they both worked on melodies and lyrics of their own, looking for an entirely personal authentic style. As time went by, different members participated in the band and contributed to its growth.

After numerous line-up changes, on July 2007, Cordelia got its definitive drummer, Cecilia Valente, who joined the group with rhythm and strength from the very first rehearsal. Finally, in November that same year, the incorporation of Valeria Filipini (keyboards) led up to the band's consolidation.

Given to the large variety of influences, the group is characterized by a versatile sound that goes from subtle ballads and purely pop spirited songs, to crunchy guitars and lively synths reminiscent of 80's and 90's rock, including other musical genres.

Nowadays, Cordelia is recording its first demo and very soon they will be rockin' on stage.

23 Cordelia is an American hardcore punk band composed of Brendan Welsh on guitar and vocals and Chris Jahnle on drums. In 2004 they released their first album, Catharsis on New Division Records.
