There are at least two bands named Cold Colours: one from USA, Minneapolis, and one from Finland, Jyv?skyl?. 1. Formed in 2001 in Jyv?skyl?, Finland. Started by covering The Cure, but switched to original songs in 2002. All members have been in numerous bands playing different styles of music over the years before forming Cold Colours. Thus it is natural that all members have also contributed equally to songwriting from the beginning.

Hailing from Minneapolis, COLD COLOURS was formed under the name of WOLFTHORN in 1995 with sole member Brian J Huebner. After releasing a few demos, WOLFTHORN changed their name to COLD COLOURS in 1999 while recording the debut full length CD "Somnium XIII."A second CD entitled "The Burden of Hope" was released in 2005.
After many different lineups, Brian finally met his match in Ryan Felgen, who joined the band in 2008. The 2 are currently writing many new songs for the future. While maintaining our own identity, we are strongly influenced by acts such as SENTENCED, AMORPHIS, MOONSPELL and PARADISE LOST.
While many different sounds have occurred in the bands tenure, COLD COLOURS are a Metal Act that some have called Goth Metal, Progressive, Aggression Depression and most notably WUSS METAL. We have pride in being a Dark and Moody Heavy Metal Band with a Rock and Roll Attitude! .
