Tupelo, Mississippi: The quaint Southern town that has given birth over the years to Elvis Presley, the American Family Association, and more recently, Cockfight Club. Clearly, Tupelo will be the site of the final battle between Good and Evil in the coming apocalypse. And Cockfight Club is ready... Following the release of their debut album ?ber g?ber in 2005, Cockfight Club began their reign of musical terror across the southeastern U.S.
Following the release of their debut album ?ber g?ber in 2005, Cockfight Club began their reign of musical terror across the southeastern U.S. Drawing from a vast pool of influences including but not limited to industrial, metal, electro, punk, new wave, and goth, as well as healthy doses of absinthe, horror films, and H.P. Lovecraft, Cockfight Club never fails to bring their own unique brand of post-industrial horror rock mayhem to the stage.
2007 saw the release of Cockfight Club's second disc, Acockalypse Now, which found the band chasing a heavier, darker, and more beautifully terrifying musical vision. They are currently recording their third album for release in 2009, as well as working on an ?ber g?ber re-release that will include remixes, music videos, interviews, live footage, and more.
Like Elvis, Cockfight Club's mission is to start a rock and roll revolution, to gyrate their pelvises in front of as many women as possible, and to strike a staggering blow below the Bible Belt. Stay tuned.
