Mixing Texas twang and country roots with punk minimalism, and a healthy dose of f**k you attitude, Clint Coker isn't easily categorized. He's shared stages with acts as varied as NYC antifolker Brook Pridemore, and south Louisiana hell raisers, The Way High Men. After years of being in garage bands, playing everything from metal, to country, to r & b, Clint began performing solo in 2001. "I don't know if I'm anti-folk and I could care less.", he says. "I write songs, then I go out and play those songs. If you like those songs, that's cool, if not, then f**k off. What's the difference what you call it?" In 2002 he released a live CD,"What Do I Care?",(Nervous City Records), while 2005 saw the release of a second live recording, "Clint Coker sings Meth Lab Blues and other hits." (vThirteen Records). A new studio EP, "MIDCRISISLIFE" is now available.
