Chris Powell

Chris Powell started his DJ career in 1997 in his hometown of Birmingham, UK before he even had turntables. It was there in his parent's home that he discovered the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Robert Miles, Paul Oakenfold and other professional DJs leading the electronic revolution. After acquiring his own equipment in 2003, Chris began DJing himself, exploring Electronic Dance Music and all of its facets and styles.

At the age of 20, with the support of those close to him, Chris was considered to be one of the most knowledgeable of his friends and family and seriously began looking into becoming a DJ on more of a professional level.

Having begun spinning in his living room, Chris has expanded his horizons to the scrutiny of the public ear by performing at local house parties of his peers, and Pubs and Bars in his area reaching out to an even larger audience.

Now at the age of 26, Chris has become an active member in his local club scene making regular appearances around town. Chris currently has his own residency from 6-7PM GMT on DJ Passion Radio every Tuesday bringing the latest and greatest dance, progressive and trance to the Internet airwaves.
