Cathryn Stone

Cathryn Stone is a musician and songwriter from the U.K. She regularly shares the stage as a 4 piece band as Cathryn Stone and The Flews, formed in 2007 in Brighton, England. The band currently consists of Cathryn Stone (vocals, guitar, piano), Mike Wood (guitar,bass, vocals), James Lindsay (cello, vocals, keys), and Cressida Jenkins (violin, vocals). Cathryn plays with this band on her most recent album, White Sun Dark Moon, released on January 15th, 2008.

Alongside The Flews, the album has some memorable guest appearances by Dave Whitford (Bass - also heard with Bobby Wellins/Liam Noble/Christine Tobin) Rachael Wood (Guitar - also heard with Amy WInehouse/Katie Melua) and Dil Davies (Drums - also heard with The Oysterband).
