Castle Grey Skull was founded by four young guys from Fort Frances, a small town in northwestern Ontario (pop.9000). After Marc Lovisa (drums) left Tugnut, he immediately began forming a new band. Gathering up Jordan Vandetti (guitar), Adam Foley (bass), and Andrew Mueller (guitar), the foursome started writing. The band decided to move to Vancouver, BC to pursue their music further. A few local shows later and the band got into contact with Vancouver company Blackskyline. Through this, they hooked up with recording engineer extraordinaire, Eric Mosher to record their first EP.
Unfortunately before the EP could be released, Jordan Vandetti left Castle Grey Skull. The band then picked up singer Jerome Oregas, formerly of Vancouver's Burn the Name. After months of writing the band headed into Warehouse Studios with Eric Mosher to record their full length. Creating honest and passionate music through their blend of energetic technical hardcore, powerful grooves and raw emotion, Castle Grey Skull are a band that needs to be heard. Castle Grey Skull plans to tour as much as humanly possible.
Castle Grey Skull is a band that knows their direction, meaning, and ideals. Through their immense passion for music, they strive to be the best band they could ever hope to be.
