Carolyn was a short-lived rock band from York in the UK. The band existed from 1998 to 1999 and produced one self-released CD before breaking up. Carolyn made instrumental music influenced by the UK post-rock scene of the mid- to late-90s, most prominently Mogwai, and also by Slint, My Bloody Valentine and Boyzone. Contrary to popular rumour, they had no particular liking for quizes or crosswords.
