Carla Ulbrich is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Clemson, South Carolina and currently living in New Jersey. Insert your own punchline here. Her song If I Had the Copyright was featured in the documentary F*ck, released November 2006 and directed by Steve Anderson.

As Ulbrich has many parody and novelty songs in her repertoire, she is featured regularly on the Dr. Demento Radio Show. She also won Novelty Song of the Year in 2006 at the Just Plain Folks awards for her piece What If Your Butt Was Gone.

Carla released her 5th CD, "Live From Outer Space," a concert recorded at Sirius XM radio, in August 2009. Her book, "How Can you Not Laugh at a Time Like This?," a collection of humorous essays about her experiences as "The Singing Patient," published by Tell Me Press, is available at Amazon.com and will be available in bookstores on Feb. 1, 2011.
