Burning in December

The progressive, melodic rock band "Burning in December" is a musical side project created by Scottish composer Tim McGowan, known more for his contemporary instrumental CD releases, and American rock guitarist Kevin Schertell. Kevin Schertell's guitar style & sound meshes with the progressive keyboard work, guitar work, vocal stylings and hard hitting lyrics of Tim McGowan with the help of their combined rock musical influences that range from Ozzy Osbourne, King's X, The Beatles, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Marillion, Evergrey, Opeth, & Collective Soul.

Kevin Schertell's guitar style & sound meshes with the progressive keyboard work, guitar work, vocal stylings and hard hitting lyrics of Tim McGowan with the help of their combined rock musical influences that range from Ozzy Osbourne, King's X, The Beatles, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Marillion, Evergrey, Opeth, & Collective Soul. The writing duo who wrote, performed and recorded all instrumentation on all the tracks of their debut Cd "No Way Out", later added a bass player and drummer to take their sound on the road and have performed their flavor of melodic rock to audiences in the U.S.A.
