Bryan Master is an alt-rock & roll singer-songwriter, based in Los Angeles, California. Master learned to play the trumpet and the piano by age 8, and began playing the drums and guitar soon after. He graduated from Fordham University in 1999 and spent nearly two years living in an abandoned diamond factory in Newark, NJ writing and performing as the drummer for his band, Mother Bacchus. After five years together, Mother Bacchus disbanded in 2000, when the artist moved to pursue a solo career as a singer-songwriter.

Master has played at some of New York City's premiere venues, including The Cutting Room, Joe's Pub and Mercury Lounge. He independently released his debut album, Lost At Sea, in 2003 and his sophomore effort, Incommunicado, in the fall of 2004. After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Bryan briefly collaborated with fellow singer-songwriter Mike McCarthy (as Master McCarthy) on an unreleased album, produced by legendary Niko Bolas and additional production by Steve Perry of Journey.
Master returned to his solo act in early 2007, and is now accompanied by backing band members: Shaun Hague (lead/electric guitar), Nick Amoroso (drums) and Brian Kukan (bass guitar).
In 2007 Master went on a minor US-tour along the West and East Coasts, kicked off by his debut at the Troubadour and a sold-out show at Hollywood's legendary Viper Room. In January 2008, Master was the featured artist on Billboard.com's Billboard Underground series, a monthly showcase of an unsigned, on-the-rise artist, where he performed his new ?Moments Like This Don't Come Around for People Like Us".
That song most recently earned Master the title of 'Fan Favorite' in LA's Star 98.7fm ?Rock Star' contest, competing for a recording contract with ATO Records. One of more than 1,000 initial entries, Master advanced to the Top 5, performing in Jan. 26, 2008 at Hollywood's Key Club.
His latest record, as yet untitled, is currently in production.
