Brittany Shoup

Brittany Shoup is from the Albany area. She plays mostly solo acoustic, but is working on a band right now. She cites early Green Day and ska as musical influences. She performs in Albany and Oneonta area, where she attends college. She likes playing covers along with originals. She has beautiful vocals, strong techincal guitar skills, and evocative lyrics. Her sound has been compared to Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Alanis Morrisette, Shawn Colvin, Ani DiFranco, and even Green Day. She has released two albums under her own label, for serious records.
