Blasphemous Creation is a blackened thrash metal band from Reno, Nevada that was formed in March of 2006 featuring lead guitarist and vocalist Isaac Wilson, drummer Travis Edwards, rhythm guitarist Nic Kampshroeder, and bass player Bill Pauley. Using a mixture of old school thrash and black metal with influences ranging from Slayer, Kreator and Sodom to Bathory, Venom and Dissection, The four began playing live shows in their home town of Reno, NV in May of 2006 and recorded a demo in June 2006 called "Rest In Pieces", a six track CD.
One of the songs, "Eternal War", appeared on a compilation called "Underground Assault vol. 4"on Respawn Records. In October 2006, Nic Kampschroeder was replaced by rhythm guitarist Ben Brown. In April 2007 the band released another demo called Black Winter, a 6 track cd. The band appeared in numerous magazines throughout 2007 including Metal Maniacs, Pit, and BW&BK, as well as the Boneless Records 2007 summer sampler featuring Skitzo, Zombie Death Stench, and St. Madness. They also appeared on BW&BK Magazine's Knuckletracks 105 sampler featuring Malevolent Creation, Nile and 3 Inches Of Blood. They have proven themselves over and over again winning crowds over with their explosive and energetic live performances. In June 2007 bass player Bill Pauley was replaced by Jed Wilson. In March of 2008 the band released a third demo called Shadows Of Evil. The cd received several rave reviews from countless webzines and magazines including Metal Maniacs Once again. In April 2008 the band signed a deal with French label Maltkross Productions to re-release Shadows Of Evil. The first two E.P.s were also released by Maltkross under the name "Fire!". Both E.P.s have been distributed worldwide through several distros. In August of 2008 the band won the Bloodstock 2008 Unsigned Competition in the black/thrash metal category, securing them a slot at the Bloodstock Open Air Festival in England featuring Destruction, Helloween, Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, Iced Earth, Overkill, At The Gates , Kataklysm, and many more great metal bands. In December of 08 Travis Edwards and Ben Brown left the band and were replaced by Zack Sotka on the drums and TJ Laughlin on the bass. In March of 2009 Zack Sotka left the band and original drummer Travis Edwards rejoined. The band is set to release their full length debut this winter.
