Blair Hansen

Blair Hansen is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area. Trained vocally in classical music for six years and having won many classical/opera music awards from university professors, Blair decided to pick up the guitar and put her dream to be an opera singer behind her for a dream to create her own music. Hansen began writing songs and playing them for her family to hear. Six months later, Blair met her drummer, Daren Wilkerson, who introduced her to her current producer, Clay Bigham.

With her family's support, she began recording her first album and took it to as many stages and people as she could.

Shortly there after, at the age of seventeen, Blair recorded her second cd "Smile" and hit the road. With her father, Steve Hansen as her Manager and Sally Anne Monti as her Publicist, they embarked on the "Blair Hansen Music Project".

After graduating high school in 2004, Blair decided to take a break for a few years to gain more experience, search her soul and to see if this was truly what she wanted to do.

Now, 2009 will release Blair's third CD and many venues and experiences await Blair. We will be placing the focus on working toward establishing relationships with successful individuals to help her with performance opportunities, music publication, promotion and record distribution.

Noted past performances:

Blair has opened for the likes of Susan Tedeschi and Chuck Prophet in San Francisco and held her own at the prestigious South by Southwest Conference in Austin, Texas, was invited to play on San Francisco's main stage for their 2004 Pride Festival, as well as playing along side of Girlyman and Dar Williams.
