A band which has drawn a litany of comparisons and classification throughout these reincarnations ? from Can and Radiohead, to Lake Trout and Tortoise, God Speed and Sigur Ros ? no single review or opinion seems to give any indication of a definable or traceable line of Bellflur's genre-specificity. However, Bellflur manages to rest seamlessly in lush space and musical grandeur just as easily as odd-time signatures and bare-boned harmonies and reticence.
