"More than a vocalist, Beata brought the soul of long-gone singers back to life"... Classically trained as both a vocalist and on violin, she brings her education to bear when interpreting both her original compositions and the modern American songbook. She has performed and resided throughout the world, leading her from Poland to England, to Japan and the United States. Currently residing in the desert of southern California, Beata spent much of 2010 recording new material. The first project, "Blue", is the second recording in her evolving color series with pianist and composer Mark Little.
Currently residing in the desert of southern California, Beata spent much of 2010 recording new material. The first project, "Blue", is the second recording in her evolving color series with pianist and composer Mark Little. The second project, "The Ballads of Shirley and Sarah" is a reunion for Beata with her good friends Buca Necak, bass, and Aoki Hiromu on piano. This album is a collection of powerful arrangements of modern standards as developed by Sarah Vaughn and Shirley Horn. Those who joins Beata's mailing list at BeataPater.com can download prerelease MP3s from the new albums, to be released in 2011
