Barbara Hills

Barbara was born in Meriden UK and has always found it hard to choose between the visual arts and music. With an honours degree in Fine Art and Education, she also studied classical piano from childhood and later learned to play many other instruments. Then followed a few years of studying sound engineering at Glasshouse Studios and music technology at the Technical College, Coventry. Now she does what she loves most - working with sound and image and producing her own music.

Barbara's instrumental musical style is a fusion of alternative-classical, folk, world and contemporary styles. Themes are often experiences of the natural world from which she draws her inspiration. Her aim is to produce 'paintings in sound'.
