There are three bands going under the name Backwash: 1) An emo/punk/pop/ska band from Worcester (UK): From ska to pop punk to metal ? these are the early influences that have blended BACKWASH into a formidable punk-rock force. Signed with Lockjaw Records, they have made two releases. An EP called "What A Difference Two Years Make" and a full album "Circus, Circus". After taking a short break, Backwash made a return at a charity show held in Worcester called Punk 4 Pudsey, run by their bassist Phil, where they were joined on stage by former guitarist, James Bevis.

2) A rock'n'roll band from Z?rich (CH):
Since the year 2000 Backwash is the synonym for "kick-ass rock'n'roll". The band's EP "Feel Rock", released in 2003, was immediately appraised by the media and sold very well throughout Switzerland.
The various preferences of the band's members have been blended with influences of bands like M?tley Cr?e, Guns'n'Roses, AC/DC and Mot?rhead into a unique, mind-blasting experience.
The authentic live performance and tons of sex appeal make every audience beg for more (Backwash supported Turbonegro, Bloodhound Gang, Nashville Pussy, Krokus, Zeke, The Quireboys and others on some of Switzerland's most prestigious stages).
3) A punk band from Hawaii from the 90's
